Job Title: Risk Management Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Amazon. As a Risk Management Specialist, you will be responsible for investigating and managing risk and abuse of 1p retail vendors. You will utilize data to scale detection and make high-level judgments to own complex investigations and enforcement decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Investigate risk and abuse of 1p retail vendors utilizing data to scale detection.
- Lead and support teams in responding to, investigating, managing and resolving high-impact incidents and escalations around 1P vendors.
- Use high-level judgment to own complex investigations and enforcement decisions driven through data.
- Analyze large datasets to identify anomalies and trends that can be used to identify abuse at scale.
- Own and/or manage projects designed to improve operational and process efficiency.

Requirements:

- 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Exceptional written communication skills: able to write, clearly and succinctly.
- Exceptional ownership and bias for action: willing to move quickly and decisively.
- Strong critical thinker with the vision to work both tactically and strategically.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proven analytical thinking with a natural tendency to use data in decision-making and prioritization.
- High level of integrity and discretion to handle confidential information.
