Job Title: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Pediatrix Medical Group. As a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill newborns and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive care to neonates in the NICU, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of medical and surgical conditions.
  • Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of neonates, including physical examination, laboratory tests, and imaging studies.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management, respiratory support, and other interventions as needed.
  • Provide education and support to families, including counseling, guidance, and emotional support.
Requirements:
  • Current APRN national specialty certification.
  • Minimum of a master's degree in nursing.
  • Experience working in a NICU setting, preferably with a Level III NICU.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with families, healthcare teams, and other stakeholders.
