Job Title: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Dayton Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to children from birth to 21 years of age. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care, including well-child visits, acute illness management, and chronic condition management.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary and specialty care to children in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide education to patients and families
  • Collaborate with pediatricians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
  • Stay current with evidence-based practice and advances in pediatric healthcare
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Pediatrics
  • Current certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
  • Experience working with children and families in a healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
