Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Watch Center Specialist to join our team at the Arizona Department of Public Safety. As a Watch Center Specialist, you will play a critical role in monitoring and coordinating day-to-day Department and fusion center operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and coordinate day-to-day Department and fusion center operations
  • Work with state troopers, Operational Communications, and other Department work units to obtain situational awareness related to incidents and events
  • Perform information sharing and alerting functions
  • Provide timely email notifications about events meeting certain criteria
  • Make phone notifications to command staff and executive staff
  • Call out specialty work groups
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • At least three (3) years of law enforcement experience as an Arizona POST certified peace officer
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona driver license
  • Ability to work irregular hours and/or respond to emergency staffing or callouts on a 24-hour basis
