Job Overview

A unique position in which the Logistics Specialist 3 is responsible for the execution of material logistics in a data center environment. This includes shipping/receiving, storage, distribution, and cycle counting of data center material.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise logistics personnel for assigned operations
  • Develop and implement goals, objectives, policies, and priorities of the organization
  • Direct and review work plans for assigned staff within assigned areas
  • Maintain strict inventory control and ensure accurate and timely shipments and receipts
  • Assist in monthly and/or annual physical inventories and provide inventory reports
  • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement
Requirements
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's Degree or Logistics-related certification(s)
  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or related field
  • Proficient in MS Office (specifically Excel)
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and client service management
Physical Demands
  • May require up to 25% travel
  • May require extended periods on your feet
  • May require miles of walking per day throughout the Warehouse and/or Data Center
