Job OverviewA unique position in which the Logistics Specialist 3 is responsible for the execution of material logistics in a data center environment. This includes shipping/receiving, storage, distribution, and cycle counting of data center material.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise logistics personnel for assigned operations
- Develop and implement goals, objectives, policies, and priorities of the organization
- Direct and review work plans for assigned staff within assigned areas
- Maintain strict inventory control and ensure accurate and timely shipments and receipts
- Assist in monthly and/or annual physical inventories and provide inventory reports
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement
- HS Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's Degree or Logistics-related certification(s)
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or related field
- Proficient in MS Office (specifically Excel)
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and client service management
- May require up to 25% travel
- May require extended periods on your feet
- May require miles of walking per day throughout the Warehouse and/or Data Center
