Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Representative to join our team at Mainstay, Williston North Dakota. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, register them into the system, and provide accurate and timely information and services.
  • Communication: Respond to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information, and guest concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Room Assignments: Assign rooms to guests, verify reservation information, and ensure all necessary details are accurate.
  • Payment and Billing: Accept payment for guests' accounts, maintain a house bank, and make deposits and accurate reports of receipts daily.
  • Security and Safety: Properly handle and account for keys, be knowledgeable of policies regarding emergency procedures and security concerns, and ensure the safety and security of guests and staff.
  • Revenue Growth: Identify and record special billing instructions, notify accounting, and complete shift closing accurately to ensure timely cash flow.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery, communicate pertinent information, and respond positively to new ideas.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment, preferably with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt processes and standards.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, basic computational ability, and basic computer skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours, lift up to 15 lbs occasionally, and perform other physical demands as required.
