Job Title: Director of Strategic Accounts

WebMD is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Strategic Accounts to lead our sales efforts in the pharmaceutical industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our presence in the market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and identify new business opportunities through proactive research and lead generation techniques.
  • Engage and qualify leads through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers and agency partners to understand their needs and tailor sales strategies accordingly.
  • Conduct compelling and persuasive presentations and product demonstrations to educate potential clients about our patient engagement solutions.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing to secure profitable deals and consistently meet or exceed sales quotas.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to adapt sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including lead generation, communications, and sales outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience selling to pharmaceutical manufacturers.
  • Experience with health system marketing and/or pharmaceutical industry strongly desired.
  • Relevant patient support and copay experience is preferred.
  • Extensive client deal-making experience and a desire to aggressively hunt and develop new business.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work closely with internal teams to identify key strategies to maximize impact of clients' campaigns on the WebMD Health Network.

Base Salary Range: $125,000 - $135,000. OTE Range: $215,000 - $235,000
