Vermeer Southeast is currently seeking an experienced Service Support Specialist to provide exceptional customer service in our Savannah, GA dealership through basic assistance and support to the service department.Key Responsibilities
- Provide courteous and professional service to customers at all times.
- Assist with equipment pre-delivery and basic service tasks.
- Support service technicians as needed.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks.
- Adhere to department safety practices and protocols.
- Ensure service bays and driveways are clear and organized at all times.
- Maintain a clean and secure work environment, including grounds, yard, shop, and customer parking areas.
- Clean and prepare equipment and vehicles for use.
- Unload and move equipment to designated areas.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous industry experience preferred.
- Ability to understand, read, and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to multitask and demonstrate attention to detail, with strong organizational and follow-through skills.
- Demonstrated customer service skills and a valid driver's license are required.
- Knowledge of machines and equipment, as well as working knowledge of common hazards and safety precautions.
