About the Role

Vermeer Southeast is currently seeking an experienced Service Support Specialist to provide exceptional customer service in our Savannah, GA dealership through basic assistance and support to the service department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide courteous and professional service to customers at all times.
  • Assist with equipment pre-delivery and basic service tasks.
  • Support service technicians as needed.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving tasks.
  • Adhere to department safety practices and protocols.
  • Ensure service bays and driveways are clear and organized at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and secure work environment, including grounds, yard, shop, and customer parking areas.
  • Clean and prepare equipment and vehicles for use.
  • Unload and move equipment to designated areas.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to understand, read, and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Must be able to multitask and demonstrate attention to detail, with strong organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and a valid driver's license are required.
  • Knowledge of machines and equipment, as well as working knowledge of common hazards and safety precautions.
