Position Summary:
The Chief Financial Officer will oversee and direct the financial operations of Covenant Health, transforming complex data into actionable insights that guide organizational decision-making. This role requires a strategic approach to align the organization's financial goals with its overarching objectives, while also assessing the financial implications of proposed investments.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop a profound understanding of financial markets and instruments, ensuring the organization remains informed about factors that could impact financial performance.
2. Lead and manage Treasury operations, policies, and internal controls throughout the organization.
3. Effectively manage cash flows to maintain liquidity and financial stability.
4. Monitor and assess both daily and long-term liquidity and capital capacity.
5. Cultivate relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions.
6. Formulate and execute treasury strategies that optimize liquidity, funding, and investment activities, collaborating closely with investment advisors.
7. Oversee the issuance of debt, ensuring compliance with covenants and reporting requirements.
8. Provide strategic leadership for the annual long-range financial plan and operating budgets, refining forecasting and budgeting processes for optimal financial control.
9. Collaborate with service line management to deliver insightful financial metrics and analytics that drive business growth.
10. Lead cross-functional teams to develop financial business cases for strategic initiatives, including financial modeling and analysis.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.

Experience:
A minimum of seven years of progressive management experience in finance or accounting, with at least five years in a leadership capacity. Experience in a large not-for-profit health system with expertise in FP&A, treasury, and M&A is preferred.

Licensure:
An advanced degree such as an MBA or CPA is required.
