Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate equipment to manufacture products from raw materials to finished goods.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of raw materials used in manufacturing and ensure data sheets on materials in process are up to date.
  • Conduct in-process tests to verify that production meets required specifications, including hardness, weight, variation, pH, and moisture content.
  • Recognize equipment malfunctions and product deficiencies; troubleshoot errors to maintain optimal production levels.
  • Follow blueprints, subassembly layouts, and schematics accurately.
  • Maintain running accounts of orders received, work completed, and inventory.
  • Match workload, staffing, and equipment capacity to existing inventory levels.
  • Prepare and monitor master schedules in coordination with materials planning, production, and maintenance personnel.
  • Requisition materials based on determined delivery dates.
Required Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
Competencies:
  • Ability to recognize the need for deviation from established procedures when necessary.
Job Scope/Complexity:
  • Duties and tasks are varied and semi-routine, requiring the application of job skills and company policies.
