Aircraft Development Program Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring milestones and program requirements are completed according to the company schedule and ensuring accurate reporting and execution of the program management system. This role will coordinate and execute cross-functional projects that impact all aspects of new aircraft development, both technical and business related.
Key Responsibilities- Develops, coordinates, and manages integrated program/project schedules and certification activities.
- Interfaces with Sales, Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Flight Test, Finance, and other organizations to ensure company milestones are completed according to program requirements and schedule.
- Develops tools, processes, and key KPIs for executive level transparency into program performance and execution.
- Leads coordination of program meetings and decision-making process.
- Owns risk, action, issue, and decision logs.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, business, or aviation-related technical field from a four-year college or university.
- 3+ years of program/project management experience.
- Working experience in airplane development and/or aerospace program management.
- Working knowledge of engineering, production, supplier, and certification processes within the aviation industry.
- Experience in airplane development.
- Knowledge of business aviation industry.
- Fundamental understanding of program/project management processes and procedures.
- Program and project management certifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
- Excellent executive presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in an integrated product team to resolve technical, business, and customer issues.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners and throughout all levels within an organization.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Incumbents may be routinely exposed to equipment operational noise, heat, cold, dust, and/or aircraft equipment, parts, or fuel odors.
- Incumbents may be required to stand, sit, squat, walk, bend, climb ladders, move, reach, or stretch for prolonged time periods with no restrictions, as required by job duties.
- Work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all regulatory requirements.
- Read, hear, speak, and see with no restrictions, as required by job duties.
- Comprehend and adhere to management directions and/or safety instructions with no restrictions.
- Effectively communicate in Business English language.
- Pull, push, carry, lift, or move items up to 10 lbs. throughout the work shift without assistance, as required by job duties.
- Pull, push, carry, lift, or move materials/people/items/equipment weighing up to 50lbs or more during the work shift, with the use of Company provided reach assistance technology or movement assist technology.
