Human Factors Design Engineer

Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Factors Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and usability of our aircraft through the application of human factors principles and techniques.
Key Responsibilities:- Define and validate human factors aspects of the aircraft, including user interface design, usability testing, and safety analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate human factors considerations into the design and development process.
- Develop and maintain human factors certification plans, compliance documents, and regulatory submissions.
- Support the development of human factors training programs and materials for employees and customers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements, and apply this knowledge to improve our products and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Factors, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in human factors engineering, with a focus on aircraft safety and usability.
- Strong understanding of human factors principles, methods, and tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Master's degree in Human Factors or a related field.
- Experience with human factors design tools, such as InVision, Illustrator, or CATIA Human Builder.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as FAA and OSHA standards.
- Experience with statistical analysis software, such as SPSS or R.
