Key Responsibilities:

  • Safeguard all assets, personnel, patients, and visitors within the designated healthcare facility.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintain detailed records of daily activities and incidents.
  • Enforce institutional policies and applicable state regulations while adhering to guidelines set forth by regulatory agencies.

Compensation: The hourly wage for this position is $28.24.

Qualifications:

  • Current certifications required: Guard Card, D.O.J. Chemical Agent, CPR, and a valid driver's license.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training programs as mandated.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with healthcare staff, management, law enforcement, and the local community.
  • Proficient in problem-solving within established policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with security equipment and general office tools.
  • Strong public relations skills and an understanding of their impact on the organization.
  • Demonstrated capability to assess and respond to emergency situations effectively.
  • Knowledge of security operational policies and local geography to enhance response efficiency.
  • Understanding of penal codes and radio communication protocols.
  • Physical fitness to manage various intervention scenarios, including patient restraints.
  • Ability to perform sustained foot patrols and maintain vigilance in monitoring surroundings.

  • Working knowledge of security practices and protocols.
