Position: Safety and Security Specialist
We are looking to fill Full-Time Safety and Security Specialist roles at our headquarters.
The Safety and Security Specialists are tasked with executing access management, conducting regular patrols, responding to emergencies and incidents, and ensuring the fulfillment of administrative duties as assigned by the Security Department. Responsibilities include monitoring all entry and exit points for irregularities, performing patrols around the perimeter, as well as the interior and exterior of the facility to safeguard personnel and assets; enforcing organizational policies; participating in security training; preparing written reports; documenting daily operations; adhering to standard operating procedures; and addressing security-related incidents.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- At least one (1) year of security experience in a professional environment.
- Guard card is mandatory.
- Experience in executing technical procedures and report writing.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Commitment to providing quality service.
- Familiarity with security protocols and procedures.
- Capability to evaluate and swiftly respond to emergency situations while maintaining composure and professionalism.
- Ability to follow detailed, step-by-step procedures.
- Understanding of operational priorities, taking initiative, and exercising sound independent judgment.
- Proficient in working independently without extensive supervision.
- Utilization of technology to process information, enhance security, and improve communication.
- Strong multitasking abilities.
- Detail-oriented approach.
- Preferred certifications: baton, mace, handcuffing, CPR/First Aid/AED.
