Position Responsibilities:
  • The individual in this role will be tasked with completing all applications for payer plans to facilitate billing and reimbursement for healthcare services. This includes integrating information collected during the credentialing process. The Provider Enrollment Coordinator will oversee, track, and maintain the provider enrollment and re-enrollment processes in a timely and compliant manner with all governmental and commercial plans.
Qualifications:
Education:
  • Minimum of an Associate Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related fields.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • At least two (2) years of experience in provider enrollment, revenue cycle management, or provider credentialing.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Excel, databases, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of insurance regulations and compliance.
  • Experience with PECOS and the SC Healthy Connections portal.
  • Exhibits high levels of organization while maintaining a strong focus on detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Capable of maintaining professionalism and composure in potentially stressful situations.
  • Possesses good manual dexterity and the ability to sit for extended periods, transitioning from sitting to standing with ease, along with good visual acuity.
  • Able to comprehend and follow detailed verbal and written instructions.
  • Demonstrates flexibility as work demands change.
  • Maintains a tidy and well-organized workspace.
  • Ensures an adequate supply of necessary materials.
