Work Schedule: Full-Time Day Shifts

Shift Details: 3/12's (options include 7am-7pm or 9am-9pm) with on-call responsibilities

Role Responsibilities (CVOR Surgical Technologist): Under general supervision, the surgical scrub technician plays a vital role in patient care during surgical procedures by performing technical and delegated tasks. As a key member of the surgical team, the technician provides care to patients across various age groups, adhering to established standards of care. Compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines is essential, as is a commitment to outstanding customer service and respectful relationships.

  • Mentors and supports other healthcare team members in the surgical setting, contributing to their training and development.

Qualifications for Success:

Minimum Requirements:

  • If an LPN, must possess a valid State of Florida license as a Licensed Professional Nurse. Additional certification as a surgical technician is not mandatory.
  • Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) is required. Completion of an RN training program may be accepted in lieu of certification.
  • BLS certification is necessary.
