We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Titan Placement Group. As a CVOR RN, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the surgical team during cardiovascular surgeries in the operating room, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients.
- Prepare the operating room and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available, adhering to sterile techniques and infection control protocols.
- Provide patient care before, during, and after the surgical procedure, monitoring patients' vital signs and responses during surgery.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and well-being, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care instructions, promoting a smooth recovery process.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, with a current State of Florida Registered RN License or recognized Compact Licensure.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Advanced certifications (i.e. CEN, TNCC, etc.) preferred, with one or more years of experience as a CV/OR RN.
- Evening Shift, with on-call responsibilities once a week and one weekend a month, subject to change depending on the needs of the department.
