Work Schedule: Full-Time Night Shifts
Shift Details: 3/12-hour overnight shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with additional on-call responsibilities

Role Responsibilities (Certified Surgical Technologist): Under general supervision, the surgical scrub technician plays a vital role in patient care during surgical procedures by performing technical and delegated tasks. As a key member of the surgical team, the technician provides care to patients across various age groups, adhering to established standards of care. Compliance with AdventHealth's Corporate Compliance Plan and all relevant regulations is essential. The technician actively engages in delivering outstanding customer service and fosters respectful relationships with all team members.

Qualifications for Success:
Minimum Requirements:
- If an LPN, must possess a valid State of Florida license as a Licensed Professional Nurse. Additional certification as a surgical technician is not mandatory.
- Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) is required. Completion of an RN training program may substitute for certification.
- BLS certification is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a Cardiovascular Surgical Technician is highly desirable.
