Job Summary

The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for members, customers, and employees at the Fitler Club.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facility Maintenance: Maintain an attractive, safe, and fully operable facility within the complex.
  • Technical Operations: Execute all technical maintenance operations, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
  • Building Systems: Oversee all fire alarm and other life safety systems and equipment, as well as maintain all building systems and infrastructure.
  • Maintenance and Engineering: Execute all aspects of maintenance/engineering operations, including operating workplace management systems.
  • Communication: Keep the Chief Engineer apprised of all operational issues daily and maintain confidentiality of all members and Club information.
  • Teamwork: Work as a team, effectively communicating with management and co-workers, and follow grooming and uniform standards established for this role.
  • Member and Associate Safety: Ensure that member and associate areas are maintained in a safe and secure environment.
  • Additional Duties: Perform all other duties as directed by immediate supervisors.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years' experience actively serving in a facilities maintenance/engineering role in a hotel or private club environment.
  • Technical Skills: Technical experience in building trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.).
  • Problem-Solving: Good problem-solving skills and ability to respond to emergency situations.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments and multi-task.
  • Computer Skills: Possess good computer skills.
  • Availability: Punctuality and regular attendance, with the ability to work within the club on weekends, nights, and/or holidays based on business demands.
  • Attitude: Must have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, polite, and energetic.
