We are currently looking for a Reliability Engineering Specialist (IPS Maintenance Manager) to enhance our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead initiatives for equipment enhancement strategies aimed at optimizing maintenance practices and ensuring maximum equipment uptime.
  • Establish, develop, and enhance reliability programs that encompass:
  • Preventive maintenance activities executed by machine operators and skilled maintenance personnel.
  • Thorough development of Bill of Materials (BOM) and identification of essential spare components.
  • Integration of current machinery into the ManTech Data Fabric for real-time performance tracking.
  • Design and incorporation of new sensors on equipment to initiate predictive and condition-based monitoring alerts.
  • Continuous design enhancements.
  • Formulate engineering solutions to recurring or significant failures on critical machinery through Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Conduct Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) to establish proactive reliability strategies for essential equipment.
  • Collaborate across departments to promote process enhancements, design modifications, and comprehensive equipment refurbishments.
  • Work alongside internal tooling, automation, and production teams to ensure that maintainability is integrated into newly designed equipment.
  • Develop and implement maintenance and reliability Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to foster equipment advancements and improve organizational efficiency.
  • Assist in the onboarding and commissioning of newly acquired or constructed equipment; launch reliability programs prior to equipment entering operational status.
  • Provide technical assistance to production, maintenance management, and technical staff.
  • Oversee repair requests for asset enhancements and data collection.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
  • 5+ years of experience in integrated product development, reliability, condition-based maintenance (CBM), reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), or operations.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in a maintenance engineering capacity and reliability within a testing or operational setting.
  • Practical experience with equipment control systems, machinery, tooling, and industrial automation.
  • Comprehensive understanding of mechanical, fluid, and electrical component functionalities.
  • Ability to interpret and comprehend equipment schematics, technical documentation, and OEM manuals.
  • Familiarity with testing equipment; CAD, 3D printing, modeling, and simulation.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as Maximo, SAP, or Infor.
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance and reliability KPIs, Key Performance Parameters (KPPs), and Key Success Attributes (KSAs).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of demonstrating a high level of urgency.
