Receptionist Extra Functions Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist/Extra Functions to join our team at Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare the front office area for patient arrival, including setting up charts and preparing necessary documents.
- Check in patients, update their information, and process payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist with patient flow, including coordinating with nursing staff, lab, and pharmacy.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, mail processing, and filing.
- Support the front office team by providing backup coverage and assisting with special projects.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in a medical or administrative setting preferred.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken language.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
