Job Title: Senior Cloud Engineer

Guidehouse is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team in the Northern Virginia area. As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the analysis, evaluation, and integration of cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance on the design and delivery of a network infrastructure optimized for performance and resilience.
  • Provide cloud engineering expertise to support the design, delivery, and integration of infrastructure, platform, applications, and process solutions with cloud environments.
  • Guide and mentor development teams to expand cloud competencies.
  • Establish application, environment uptime, and utilization scaling parameters and metrics for monitoring and enhancements.
  • Establish standard policy and compliance metrics to monitor cloud environment operations.
  • Coordinate with cybersecurity team members to establish performance and cybersecurity continuous monitoring frameworks.
  • Provide guidance for the application of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) build and sustainment standards pertaining to cloud environments.
  • Lead the analysis and development of information papers for emerging cloud-based technology.
  • Lead the establishment of risk identification and tracking processes for the hosting environment infrastructure and hosted applications.
  • Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
  • Communicate with other program personnel and government overseers, and senior executives.
Requirements:
  • A CURRENT and ACTIVE TOP SECRET / SCI federal security clearance with COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI) Polygraph.
  • SEVEN (7) or more years' experience dealing with cloud system requirements, system development and implementation, system testing, etc.
  • Experience with Federal Government, DoD, or Intelligence Community customers.
