Job Overview

Position Summary

St. Christopher's School, a prestigious all-boys institution in Virginia, is seeking a dedicated Bus Driver. This role is essential in supporting the transportation needs of approximately 1,000 students from Grades JK-12.

Our school is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment, emphasizing the holistic development of each student through academics, arts, athletics, and community service.

Key Responsibilities

The Bus Driver will:

  • Operate a designated shuttle route between St. Christopher's and St. Catherine's campuses.
  • Provide transportation for athletic teams and field trips, which may include evening and weekend travel.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers while maintaining the vehicle in a clean and safe condition.
  • Assist with the ongoing maintenance and servicing of the school’s vehicle fleet as needed.
Qualifications and Skills

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger and air-brake endorsements.
  • A clean driving record and a minimum of three years of CDL driving experience.
  • A commitment to the mission and values of St. Christopher's School, including diversity and inclusion.

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

  • Stand, walk, bend, and sit for extended periods.
