Responsibilities:
  • Manage the dispatch team and ensure that all transportation requests are handled in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Oversee the planning and deployment of transportation vans and ensure that all necessary equipment is in good working order.
  • Supervise a team of dispatchers and call takers and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement dispatch policies and protocols to ensure the highest level of service.
  • Manage data entry and reporting to ensure accurate and timely information.
  • Obtain pre-authorizations and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Manage software and ensure that all systems are functioning properly.
  • Support field operations as needed and provide backup for dispatchers and call takers.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience dispatching emergency services or commercial NEMT required.
