Responsibilities:- Manage the dispatch team and ensure that all transportation requests are handled in a timely and efficient manner.
- Oversee the planning and deployment of transportation vans and ensure that all necessary equipment is in good working order.
- Supervise a team of dispatchers and call takers and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and implement dispatch policies and protocols to ensure the highest level of service.
- Manage data entry and reporting to ensure accurate and timely information.
- Obtain pre-authorizations and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Manage software and ensure that all systems are functioning properly.
- Support field operations as needed and provide backup for dispatchers and call takers.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's degree in a relevant field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience dispatching emergency services or commercial NEMT required.
