Position Overview

Client Support Specialist Job Category: Customer Support

NVR has been a leader in the homebuilding sector since 1948, assisting families in creating their dream homes. As one of the top five homebuilders in the United States, we are dedicated to excellence and our clients, taking pride in the over 490,000 homes we have constructed nationwide. While the homebuilding industry is rewarding and tangible, not every role at NVR requires a hard hat. Our operations extend beyond just selling and constructing homes; we also oversee teams, acquire land, manufacture materials, provide mortgage solutions, and support our extensive business operations.

As a Client Support Specialist, your empathy and communication skills will be essential in delivering outstanding service to NVR homeowners. You will utilize your customer interaction experience to assess callers' concerns and collaborate with them to resolve issues effectively. Your willingness to learn about our homes and processes will enable you to integrate swiftly into a team dedicated to high standards. You will be driven by the chance to proactively address problems, respond to customer inquiries, and achieve resolutions that foster positive experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently in a dynamic, high-volume call center environment.
  • Timely manage and respond to customer service inquiries via phone and email.
  • Accurately document customer service requests in the customer relationship management (CRM) system during calls.
  • Collaborate directly with field warranty personnel to strategize on long-term customer service challenges.
  • Stay informed about NVR products and warranty protocols.

Qualifications

  • 3 - 6 years of professional experience in customer support.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a phone-based or call center setting.
  • Proven ability to engage with customers, build rapport, and manage relationships over the phone.
  • Highly motivated and proactive problem solver.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient typing skills with the capability to document call notes during interactions.
  • Familiarity with the homebuilding industry or NVR's offerings is advantageous.

Life at NVR

At NVR, your ambition to succeed is matched by our commitment to your growth. We provide the tools and industry insights necessary for your success. Our management team is experienced and talented, with nearly 80% promoted from within, ensuring you have mentors to guide you and share their expertise.

In addition to traditional benefits, we provide all employees with stock ownership through a profit-sharing trust as part of our retirement savings plan. NVR has achieved the highest Earnings Per Share growth rate in the homebuilding industry over the past decade, meaning as we prosper, so do you.
