Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Faculty Psychologist to join our team in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Duke University. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing psychological evaluation and short-term treatment for children and adolescents, working with a growing team focused on enhancing access to a range of services provided to children and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychological evaluation and short-term treatment for children and adolescents.
  • Work with a growing team focused on enhancing access to a range of services provided to children and families.
  • Teach and mentor psychology externs and interns, postdoctoral fellows, medical students, general psychiatry residents, and child and adolescent psychiatry fellows.
  • Have a faculty appointment with rank commensurate with the applicant's experience.
Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in clinical psychology or related field from an APA-accredited doctoral program.
  • Licensed to practice in NC (or license eligible).
  • Preference given to candidates with a solid foundation in general clinical skills in evaluating children with a range of complex medical conditions, including but not limited to Concussion/TBI, Hem-Onc, Bone Marrow transplant, and Seizure Disorders.
  • Ideal candidates have specific experience in neuropsychological testing and evaluating patients for epilepsy surgery including cortical mapping.
