We are seeking a highly qualified Faculty Psychologist to join our team at Duke University's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing psychological evaluation and short-term treatment for children and adolescents, working with a growing team focused on enhancing access to a range of services provided to children and families.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide psychological evaluation and short-term treatment for children and adolescents.
- Work with a growing team focused on enhancing access to a range of services provided to children and families.
- Teach and mentor psychology externs and interns, postdoctoral fellows, medical students, general psychiatry residents, and child and adolescent psychiatry fellows.
- Have a faculty appointment with rank commensurate with the applicant's experience.
- Doctoral degree in clinical psychology or related field from an APA-accredited doctoral program.
- Licensed to practice in NC (or be license eligible).
- Preference given to candidates with a solid foundation in general clinical skills in evaluating children with a range of complex medical conditions, including but not limited to Concussion/TBI, Hem-Onc, Bone Marrow transplant, and Seizure Disorders.
- Ideal candidates have specific experience in neuropsychological testing and evaluating patients for epilepsy surgery including cortical mapping.
