To be eligible, candidates must hold an MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree and be board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Pediatrics in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
About the DivisionThe Duke Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition specializes in pediatric gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and nutritional disorders. The division consists of 8 physicians, three outpatient nurse practitioners, three inpatient nurse practitioners, and four dietitians, providing state-of-the-art diagnostic procedures and comprehensive therapeutic services for common and rare pediatric gastroenterology diseases.
The division collaborates on patient care with other departments through multidisciplinary clinical teams.
Research and EducationDuke University School of Medicine has a strong tradition of excellence in Pediatrics. Faculty members are renowned leaders in their respective fields, holding memberships in prestigious national and international organizations.
The Department of Pediatrics comprises approximately 250 faculty, 75 residents, and 60 subspecialty fellows, offering exceptional residency training experiences in pediatrics and medicine-pediatrics and superb fellowship training experiences in nearly all pediatric subspecialties.
