The Director of Compensation will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of compensation programs that align with Epsilon's performance culture and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Design, support, and implement compensation programs that are current, competitive, and in compliance with legal requirements.
- Work closely with the compensation team and leadership to provide support of existing compensation programs.
- Develop and maintain a compensation structure/philosophy and classifications system.
- Define job levels and families, compile market data, and establish pay parameters.
- Manage and oversee large-scale initiatives involving cross-functional teams.
- Participate, analyze, and interpret market data.
- Complete special studies and recommendations on subjects such as incentive compensation, bonus plans, sales compensation, or company pay equity.
- Consolidate information and produce reports to be used for management decision-making.
- Support communications and change management efforts of Compensation/HR.
- Ensure proper documentation and audit processes are developed, approved, and followed.
- 12+ years of experience in compensation.
- Prior experience in consultative roles in mid to large-size technology corporations or consulting companies (over 500 employees).
- Experience leading compensation programs and conducting high-level presentations.
- Knowledge and experience with state and federal labor laws and regulations as it relates to compensation.
- Strong understanding of HRIS systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel required: complex formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and graphs and charts.
- Certified Compensation Professional certification.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field.
