Job Overview

Position Summary: Precision Hire Solution is in search of a proactive and skilled PR Account Manager to serve as a vital link between our esteemed clients and our innovative internal teams. This role encompasses the management of daily client interactions, the advancement of projects, and the assurance of delivering exceptional solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute public relations strategies, encompassing writing, media relations, organizational tasks, research, and production.
  • Independently manage a diverse range of tasks while exercising sound judgment.
  • Play a pivotal role in executing work on client accounts and projects.
  • Engage directly with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and program developer.
  • Oversee media monitoring solutions as required.
  • Conduct daily account activities with confidence and competence.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure assignments are completed on budget and on time, while balancing competing priorities.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the communication plans for accounts and track clients' business developments.
  • Facilitate communication between clients, external suppliers, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Establish and nurture positive and professional relationships with client contacts.
  • Identify and propose strategies to enhance team, agency, and client interests.
  • Develop the ability to conceptualize program strategies and implementation tactics.
  • Regularly apply knowledge of budget development and monitoring.
  • Contribute to budget planning when appropriate.
  • Manage time effectively to optimize productivity and maximize billable hours.
  • Understand and oversee billing and activity reporting processes.
  • Achieve billability targets set for the account manager role.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-5 years in client-facing roles within the public relations sector.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with client and agency operations, along with an understanding of Precision Hire Solution's capabilities.
  • Strategic Skills: Background in PR strategy and program development, providing strategic insights to clients.
  • Negotiation: Proven negotiation skills and the ability to build strong client relationships at junior to mid-levels.
  • Project Management: Capability to deliver projects within budget and on schedule, with strong organizational skills.
  • Business Acumen: Developing commercial skills and financial understanding.
  • Agency Processes: Knowledge of agency processes in relation to client business.
  • Team Collaboration: Strong internal relationships, particularly with creative teams.
  • Communication: Excellent writing and communication skills in English.
  • Research & Analysis: Strong research, analysis, and trend identification skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Anticipate project consequences and take necessary actions to keep projects on track.
  • Client Relations: Serve as the primary client contact for logistical matters, fostering strong client relationships.
