About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy, including major gift solicitations, corporate and foundation relations, and planned giving initiatives.
  • Lead a team of development professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful execution of fundraising goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the President, Board of Trustees, and other senior leaders to advance the college's strategic priorities and achieve fundraising objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including alumni, donors, corporate partners, and community leaders.
  • Develop and implement effective communication and engagement strategies to promote the college's mission and values.
  • Manage and analyze data to inform fundraising strategies and measure program effectiveness.
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices in fundraising and development, applying knowledge and expertise to drive innovation and excellence in the role.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in fundraising and development, with a proven track record of success in leading comprehensive campaigns and managing complex organizational structures.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and inform fundraising strategies.
  • Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment, with a passion for promoting the college's mission and values.
