Position Overview:
The Patient Care Coordination Representative plays a vital role in the registration process for clinical services. This position is essential in gathering necessary information, confirming insurance coverage, and processing payments efficiently.

Radiology Imaging Associates, in collaboration with Invision Sally Jobe, operates a network of advanced imaging centers across the South Denver region. Our facilities are equipped with cutting-edge technology, providing a range of diagnostic exams to enhance patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient registration, ensuring accurate verification of insurance details and personal information.
  • Secure necessary signatures from patients or their representatives for consent and financial responsibilities.
  • Guide patients in completing required documentation and questionnaires.
  • Manage incoming calls, addressing inquiries or directing them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures to protect sensitive information.
  • Collect and maintain copies of insurance cards and identification as needed.
  • Input and verify complete demographic data to ensure seamless processing through the revenue cycle.
  • Communicate insurance benefits and patient responsibilities clearly and effectively.
  • Ensure financial security of patient accounts to optimize reimbursement.
  • Document all interactions and information accurately in the system.
  • Foster a welcoming environment by greeting patients warmly and professionally.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional multitasking skills in a high-volume setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and coding (CPT, ICD-10) is advantageous.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrated relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare registration or admissions role is preferred.

Educational Requirements:
A High School Diploma or GED is required.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is between $19.00 and $22.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
