Job Title: Director of Development

Apollo Inc is seeking a highly skilled Director of Development to lead our Deal Pipeline Management and Investment Workflow team within the Investment Technology division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and execute the strategic vision for the DealCloud Deal Pipeline Management Platform.
  • Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to align the platform's roadmap with business objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of developers, ensuring alignment with project goals and company standards.
  • Drive the end-to-end project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, planning, execution, testing, and deployment.
  • Implement Agile Sprint based project planning.
  • Provide technical direction and oversight in the design and development of the Deal Pipeline Management Platform.
  • Ensure the use of modern, scalable, and secure architectures and technologies.
  • Conduct regular code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Extensive experience in financial services technology, specifically in deal pipeline management and CRM platforms.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex technology projects.
  • 2-3+ years of recent experience working with Portfolio Managers / Front Office personnel to support a CRM or pipeline tool such as DealCloud.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with DealCloud or similar deal management platforms.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master).
  • Experience in AI and machine learning technologies.
