Job Overview

Interim HealthCare of North Carolina is seeking a Client Service Representative/ HR Specialist for a full-time position.

Objective:

The primary goal is to enhance the overall quality of the branch/office by assisting the Client Service Supervisor (or designated personnel) with operational tasks and managing the scheduling of patients/clients who require unlicensed care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Client Service Supervisor (or designated personnel) in establishing and monitoring adherence to quality and operational standards.
  • Handle incoming referral calls, document job orders, assist in staffing assignments with qualified personnel, and organize job schedules for home care staff.
  • Confirm client insurance details.
  • Create and maintain patient/client files, ensuring all documentation is current.
  • Assist with marketing, payroll, and collection activities as necessary.
  • Ensure all assigned office tasks comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as JCAHO standards and Interim HealthCare policies.
  • Promote the agency by educating prospective and existing patients/clients.
  • Provide management with suggestions for process improvements, recognition programs, and efficiency enhancements.
  • Complete additional assignments as directed.
  • May access personal health information (PHI) necessary for fulfilling job responsibilities, with access and disclosure defined by organizational policies.
  • Process applications and manage onboarding/orientation activities.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree or equivalent training or work experience.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in healthcare, temporary staffing, or a related field.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure with shifting priorities, and handle a substantial workload effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with clinical and non-clinical staff.
  • Proficient in relevant company software applications.

Work Environment:

  • Typical office environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings as needed.
  • Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods.
  • Physical demands are primarily sedentary, with occasional lifting or carrying of items up to 10 lbs.
