Commercial Sales Manager

At DCC Propane, LLC, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial propane division, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business-to-business (B2B) account development and executing impactful sales strategies to secure permanent sales.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Business Development: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within assigned geographical areas, utilizing cold-calling, networking, and marketing leads to drive sales growth.
- Sales Activity Management: Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales activity objectives through proactive customer calls, effectively managing and documenting sales activities, lead details, and meeting information within our CRM system.
- Strategic Collaboration and Opportunity Qualification: Collaborate with the General Manager and National Commercial Sales Manager to prepare sales and action strategies, identifying, developing, and qualifying new business opportunities within designated geographies.
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop strong relationships with customers, conduct market research to ensure future sales, and travel as directed throughout designated territories to generate leads and support existing customers.
- Education: High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's/Undergraduate Degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, either in inside or outside sales, with a preference for a background in commercial, mechanical, or industrial settings.
- Skills: Proven track record of successfully achieving sales goals and contributing to revenue growth, demonstrated experience in generating leads and establishing a strong sales pipeline, and possession of a valid driver's license.
This position is hybrid and requires periodic work from an office environment. The employee will be required to drive a vehicle for long periods of time, maintain a clean driving history and motor vehicle record, and be able to position, transport, lift, and/or move up to 15 pounds at a time.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee will be required to stand, walk, move across large areas, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, or otherwise reach into confined spaces, communicate with and exchange information verbally and in writing, move about in an office environment, and have specific vision abilities required by this job.
