We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer to provide support across various properties in Central New York.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite and remote assistance for employee workstations, low voltage systems, and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain guest internet connectivity, including Wi-Fi services.
  • Oversee the maintenance, support, and installation of printers, network devices, door locks, alarms, cameras, and telecommunication systems.
  • Conduct daily maintenance of device configurations, technical equipment, and systems.
  • Address and resolve network connectivity issues via LAN/WAN.
  • Support applications related to Microsoft Windows, Office, and Property Management software.
  • Implement and manage antivirus, security measures, and updates on workstations.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in networking, IP, and LAN/WAN configurations.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Servers, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Understanding of IP-based CCTV, door locks, alarms, and telecommunication systems.
  • Capability to configure mobile devices, including iOS and Android platforms.
  • Adept at troubleshooting configuration and connectivity challenges.
  • Basic knowledge of firewalls and security policies.
  • Ability to interact professionally with both guests and colleagues.
  • Experience in hospitality or retail is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Relevant hardware or Microsoft certifications or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with hospitality infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Avaya phone systems and connectivity.
  • Experience with surveillance systems, including camera installations.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, Exchange Online, and O365.
  • Experience with ConnectWise Manage, Automate, and Control.
  • Understanding of server virtualization or virtual machines.

Work Schedule:

  • Availability to work weekends and evenings is required.
  • Must be open to occasional on-call support.
