Position Title: Culinary Operations Sous Chef

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 / year
Incentives: One-time $2,000 Sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment

Job Overview:
The Culinary Operations Sous Chef will play a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of patient dining services, café, and catering. This position involves supervising a team of culinary associates to uphold high standards of food quality and sanitation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing cost controls and overseeing expenditures.
  • Collaborate in menu planning and development.
  • Lead and mentor the culinary team to ensure operational excellence.
  • Implement new culinary initiatives in partnership with the marketing and culinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • A.O.S. Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent culinary certification.
  • Proven experience in culinary management and supervision.
  • Experience in catering and healthcare food service is advantageous.
  • Strong background in procurement and purchasing is preferred.
  • Experience in high-volume food service operations is beneficial.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • ServSafe certification is highly desirable.
