Key Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, your role will include:

  • Supervising the timely and quality installation of roofing and wall cladding materials (such as metal panels, phenolic panels, fiber cement, etc.) across various commercial construction projects.
  • Fostering a culture of safety and quality among Cameron employees and subcontractors, conducting regular site inspections to ensure compliance with company, contract, and government regulations.
  • Developing and managing a strategic plan to effectively sequence work, oversee jobsite logistics, and track materials and personnel.
  • Ensuring high-quality workmanship that aligns with project and company standards.
  • Creating, updating, and communicating the project schedule while demonstrating a strong command of critical milestones with project team members.
  • Possessing a thorough understanding of subcontracts and vendor agreements.
  • Participating in project close-out activities, including punch list management.
  • Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to formulate detailed project plans and schedules.
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying potential challenges, and implementing effective solutions.
Resource Management

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Efficiently allocating resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal project performance.
  • Conducting regular inspections of project sites to ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Commercial Construction, specifically with roofing and wall panels (metal panels, phenolic panels, fiber cement panels, etc.).
  • Experience in directing or installing roofing and specialty cladding materials.
  • The ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and details.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the capability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
  • A solid understanding of project management principles and scheduling.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing project requirements.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project locations as necessary.
  • A proven track record with large and upscale commercial projects.
