About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team at Hartford Healthcare's Hartford Hospital. As a valued member of our Cardiothoracic ICU team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive physical assessments and interpret diagnostic results to inform patient care decisions.
  • Manage multiple cardiac critical care patients with varied critical illness, including hemodynamic and ventilator management.
  • Perform invasive procedures, such as arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes, and feeding tubes, under the guidance of our experienced team.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in cardiac critical care.

Requirements
  • Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible).
  • Certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
