Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of adult patients, including diagnosing and managing acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare team members.
  • Perform necessary procedures, such as physical exams, vaccinations, and minor office-based procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and optimize clinic operations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program.
  • Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Connecticut.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in adult medicine or a related field, with a strong emphasis on primary care.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
  • Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP) or as a Physician Assistant (NCCPA) is preferred.
