Key Account Sales Director

As a Key Account Sales Director at ENGIE North America Inc., you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by selling retail electricity products and leveraging cross-sell opportunities with our value-added services, including renewables and offerings from our sister companies.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Key Account customers, including C-Level executives, to identify and develop a robust pipeline of opportunities using ENGIE's products and services, ensuring alignment with customer needs and sustainability goals
  • Leverage expertise in ERCOT, PJM, NEPOOL, and NYISO markets to effectively manage customer accounts, obtain load data permissions, and propose tailored electricity supply offers that maximize Present Value Gross Margin (PVGM)
  • Qualify customer interest through detailed energy assessments and data analysis, using ENGIE Load Analytics to deliver informed, competitive proposals that meet or exceed customer requirements
  • Coordinate and manage multi-state and ISO bidding activities, ensuring a consistent and strategic approach across regions with the support of regional sales teams
  • Negotiate and finalize transaction terms, including Master Services Agreements (MSAs) and ISO-specific Sales Confirmations, in collaboration with ENGIE's Legal team, while overseeing the successful closing of deals and ensuring proper customer service and revenue realization
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a similar discipline
  • Minimum of ten (10) years' working experience in Retail Energy Sales, Marketing, Supply or Structuring
  • Experience with Customer Relations Management (CRM) and Sales Force Automation tools
  • Excellent leadership abilities with a strong sense of accountability
  • Knowledgeable in negotiating techniques, possessing strong negotiating skills
  • Excellent presentation skills that effectively communicate value to clients and stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, leveraging these tools for optimal performance in your role
Additional Details

This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy with a minimum of three (3) days working in office if you are based in Houston, TX

Must be available to travel domestically up to 20% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips

Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

Compensation

Salary Range:

$128,400 - $196,765 USD

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
