Job Summary

The Director of National Sales will oversee the development and implementation of sales strategies to drive revenue growth across Aimbridge's hotel portfolio.

This leader will be responsible for managing a team of National Account Managers and reporting to the EVP of Commercial.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet business objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of National Account Managers to achieve sales targets and goals.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including hotel owners, asset managers, and industry partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales initiatives and programs.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain a database of key accounts and contacts for prospecting and ongoing account support.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them.
  • Develop and maintain a network of internal and external subject matter experts to support sales efforts.
  • Plan, coordinate, and track sales goals, results, and team benchmarks.
  • Develop and maintain a budget for sales events, training, and other sales-related expenses.
  • Support and organize national sales team professional development and training.
  • Identify and participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote Aimbridge's hotel portfolio.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as hospitality, business, or marketing.
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in hotel sales, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience in managing a team and leading sales initiatives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel locally and regionally, as needed.
