Job Summary

As a key member of the Aimbridge Hospitality team, the Area Director of Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth and maximizing occupancy across a portfolio of extended stay hotels. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional sales and marketing skills, as well as the ability to lead and motivate a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to ensure optimal performance and results
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hotel owners, general managers, and corporate clients
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and tactics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication
Requirements
  • At least 4 years of progressive hotel sales experience, or a 4-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience
  • Prior Director of Sales or National Sales experience selling major downtown markets is required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
