Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Consultant to join our team at Motor City Seafood Company. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, driving sales, and promoting our wide range of seafood and meat products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Identify and target potential customers in the foodservice and retail sectors.
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
    • Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
    • Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Product Knowledge and Promotion:
    • Stay informed about our product offerings, including new arrivals and seasonal specials.
    • Educate clients about the quality, sustainability, and sourcing of our seafood products.
    • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote our brand.
  • Reporting and Administration:
    • Maintain accurate sales records and prepare regular sales reports.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to share insights and strategies.
    • Assist in inventory management and order processing as needed.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the foodservice or seafood and meat industry.
  • Strong knowledge of seafood and meat products and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required.
