About the Role

As an Executive Liability Account Manager at Marsh McLennan Agency, you will play a critical role in supporting producers in regards to Executive, Professional, and Cyber Liability insurance coverages. You will develop initial and ongoing business and consultative relationships with clients, prospective clients, and carriers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market and negotiate new and renewal accounts for Executive, Professional, and Cyber Liability insurance coverages.
  • Oversee the marketing process, renewal, and new business process for Executive, Professional, and Cyber Liability for private and non-profit insureds, and occasionally publicly traded companies.
  • Work closely with Producer/Account Manager to develop a marketing strategy and review applications for completeness.
  • Send applications to Carriers in accordance with company procedures and receive and review renewal and new business quotes from carriers.
  • Negotiate coverages with underwriters, prepare proposals, and bind coverage with carriers as needed.
  • Review prospects' policies and provide appropriate feedback.
  • Work closely with MMA Southeast divisions to provide quality consultation services and serve as a resource to producers, account managers, and clients.
  • Communicate and interact with all levels of management, employees, carriers, and clients and prospects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or similar field of study required.
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience working with Executive, Professional, and/or Privacy Liability products, whether in an underwriting, adjuster, agent, or attorney role.
  • Management Liability Insurance Specialist (MLIS) and/or Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) preferred and recommended, but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated emotional intelligence, and a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Resident Agents License in Property & Casualty or obtain within 90 days.
