Executive Liability Specialist

At Marsh McLennan Agency, we're seeking a highly skilled Executive Liability and Cyber Account Executive Client Services professional to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting producers in regard to Executive, Professional, and Cyber Liability insurance coverages.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop initial and ongoing business and consultative relationships with clients, prospective clients, and carriers.
- Market and negotiate new and renewal accounts for Executive, Professional, and Cyber Liability insurance.
- Oversee the marketing process, renewal, and new business process for Executive, Professional, and Cyber Liability insurance.
- Work closely with Producer/Account Manager to develop a marketing strategy.
- Review applications for completeness and follow up with Producer/Account Manager or client to obtain necessary information.
- Send applications to Carriers in accordance with company procedures.
- Receive and review renewal and new business quotes from carriers, comparing coverages and forms, and negotiating coverages with underwriters.
- Prepare proposals and other carrier products.
- Bond coverage with carriers as needed.
- Review prospect policies and provide appropriate feedback.
- Work closely with MMA Southeast divisions to provide quality consultation services and serve as a resource to producers, account managers, and clients.
- Receive phone calls from clients and production teams and respond to requests.
- Advises the producer of any potential issues or questions, as necessary.
- Meet with producers and account teams to discuss issues and resolve problems.
- Maintain proper levels of communication and build effective relationships with producers, account teams, and carrier partners (underwriters and marketing).
- Gain confidence and proficiency in handling a wide variety of client and prospect-facing interactions, on a path of competency as a subject matter expert in Executive and Cyber lines.
- Participate on MMA product line and/or industry Center(s) of Excellence and occasionally contribute on a project-basis to CoE initiatives.
- Keep up to date on market trends, issues, and enhancements relative to Executive, Professional, and Cyber Liability coverages.
- Participate in seminars and other training to broaden knowledge of Executive, Professional, and Cyber Liability specialty insurance products.
- Communicate and interact with all levels of management, employees, carriers, and clients and prospects.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or similar field of study required.
- Minimum three (3) years' experience working with Executive, Professional, and/or Privacy Liability products, whether in an underwriting, adjuster, agent, or attorney role.
- Management Liability Insurance Specialist (MLIS) and/or Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) preferred and recommended, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as demonstrated emotional intelligence.
- Take initiative, be solution-focused, and be a change agent for the organization.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills and basic math, finance, and financial management knowledge.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Resident Agent's License in Property & Casualty or obtain within 90 days.
