About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Lead to join our team at Road Runner Sports. As a Sales Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and providing exceptional customer service to drive sales and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate a strong work ethic and lead by example, setting the tone for a positive and productive work environment.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure that every customer interaction is exceptional, providing personalized service and ensuring that customers leave the store satisfied.
  • Team Management: Manage and develop a team of sales associates, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to succeed.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Drive sales and revenue growth through effective sales strategies, promotions, and events.
  • Store Operations: Ensure that the store is maintained in a clean and organized manner, with all visual merchandising and displays up to date.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately counted and that stockroom is organized and maintained.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, addressing employee concerns and issues in a fair and timely manner.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure that sales associates have the skills and knowledge to succeed.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide personalized service to customers.
  • Team Management: Proven ability to manage and develop a team of sales associates.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Proven track record of driving sales and revenue growth through effective sales strategies and promotions.
  • Inventory Management: Ability to manage inventory levels and maintain a clean and organized stockroom.
  • Employee Relations: Ability to foster a positive and inclusive work environment, addressing employee concerns and issues in a fair and timely manner.
