Position Overview

The role involves managing medical scheduling for workers undergoing examinations, utilizing advanced scheduling systems. Responsibilities include collecting precise information, arranging appointments, and addressing inquiries related to medical evaluations and program assignments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify workers due for examinations and determine appropriate exams for appointments.
  • Prioritize and schedule examinations based on examiner availability, content of the examination, and work location.
  • Coordinate appointment times for multiple services to minimize employee time away from work.
  • Adjust schedules to accommodate daily and urgent client and patient needs.
  • Operate the scheduling system and maintain data integrity according to established protocols.
  • Communicate with site personnel for daily scheduling operations via phone and email.
  • Input data into the scheduling system to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Generate various reports from the scheduling system as per established guidelines.
  • Develop, review, and maintain scheduling procedures and operational instructions.
  • Ensure adherence to document control systems for uniform documentation management.
  • Provide training on the scheduling system to users as needed.
  • Assist management with the preparation and analysis of scheduling data and reports upon request.
  • Promote and adhere to health and safety standards.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a medical environment as a receptionist or similar role.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office or similar software.
