Job Summary

Complete Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and tax management, with experience in financial statement preparation and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the Accounting Department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Credit functions, ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Monitor inventory procurement processes and costing to ensure accurate inventory valuation.
  • Prepare reports and analysis as requested, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Coordinate inquiries and audits from tax authorities, and work with CPA firms for year-end closing and reporting.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR Generalist, focusing on employee benefit and FMLA administration, employee injury and workers compensation claims, and maintenance of company HRIS system.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in accounting or related field required.
  • Three to seven years of experience in accounting and/or tax management roles, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP or OCBOA, financial statement preparation and reporting, and tax regulations.
  • Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis, and proficiency in accounting software (Sage 100 ERP experience preferred).
  • Experience managing tax compliance and reporting for state and local taxes, and experience with payroll processing and administration utilizing a HRIS system preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong writing skills to effectively communicate ideas and information.
