Cashier / Retail Sales Associate roles.


In this position, you will be stationed in one of our Travel Center locations, delivering prompt and friendly service to our customers, always with a welcoming demeanor.

As a
Cashier / Retail Sales Associate, you will be instrumental in our goal to be the friendliest and cleanest travel center chain in the nation.

This will involve delighting our patrons by ensuring a clean, inviting, and well-stocked store, and by offering the most helpful and professional customer service possible.


Your specific responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Delivering exceptional guest service at all times
  • Welcoming every guest with a smile, expressing gratitude for their business, and encouraging their return
  • Operating a point-of-sale cash register
  • Checking in vendors and signing for deliveries
  • Bagging ice
  • Constructing displays
  • Cleaning gas pumps
  • Restocking items on shelves and beverage stations
  • Emptying waste containers
  • Maintaining cleanliness in restrooms and showers
  • Picking up litter and sweeping the parking area
  • Participating in regularly scheduled team meetings
  • Executing all tasks assigned by your management team

Requirements


As a
Cashier / Retail Sales Associate, you must be dependable and hardworking with a positive and approachable attitude.

It is also essential that you uphold a professional appearance at all times.

Qualifications include:

  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Willingness and ability to learn
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to provide proper documentation establishing your identity and eligibility for legal employment in the United States
  • Willingness to undergo a criminal background and employment reference check
